For most people, Edinburgh is Princes Street and Princes
Street is Edinburgh. Which is not entirely surprising.
Think of Paris and you think Champs Elysees. Think of Barcelona
and you think Las Ramblas. And so on and so on until you run out
of cities.
Thing is, there’s more to great cities than one famous street.
Borough is testament to that. You find us in a relaxed street in
Edinburgh’s smart, urbane and leafy southside. It’s
just a short walk from the heart of things yet a world of your own
in the capital.
And a very pleasant walk it is too; passing through
The Meadows and the Old Town on your way to Princes Street. The
hotel is easily reached by road from the airport, or further afield,
without the need to negotiate the city centre traffic. If you are
arriving by train we are a five to ten minute taxi ride away.
